Doughnuts 1/3 c sugar 1/2 tsp butter 1 well beaten egg 1/2 c milk 2 c. flour 2 tsp baking powder 1/8 tsp cinnamon 1/8 tsp cloves 1/16 tsp mace 1/2 tsp salt cream sugar and butter add egg and milk mix and sift remaining ingredients add to liquid mixture Fry in oil till golden to dark brown ( test for doneness ) Sprinkle with 10x sugar ( confectioners sugar ) may also be frosted Makes 1 to 1 1/2 dozen Tater Tot Casserole
