Tomato Salad

6 large tomatoes, cut up
1/ cup oil
Salt, pepper
1 large onion, sliced
3 T. wine vinegar
Sprinkle of oregano

Mix tomatoes and onion with oil, vinegar and seasonings in wooden salad
bowl. Sprinkle with oregano and serve with chunks of hot bread. Note: A
bunch of scallions may be used in place of the onion, and 2 lemons, peeled
and diced may be used in place of the wine vinegar, if lemon is used. Add to
mixture last.
