A Piece of Cake Cranberry Apple Tart
Tart dough:
6 ounces softened butter
1 1/3 c. all purpose flour
1/3 c. powdered sugar
Filling:
1 1/2 lbs. apples, peeled and sliced
2 cups cranberries
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
Topping:
1 egg
1/4 cup sugar
2 TBS. flour
3 TBS butter, melted
Blend tart dough ingredients together with a pastry blender or two
knives
and press into a 10-inch tart pan.
Stir filling ingredients together and place in tart shell.
Stir topping ingredients together and pour on top. Bake approximately
1 hour
in a 350 degree oven until apples are tender.
